Marcio Braga
Marcio Baroukel de Souza Braga, usually known as Marcio Braga was president of Flamengo until the end of the 2009 season. He was born in Rio de Janeiro. Márcio Braga was previously president of the club from 1977 to 1981, 1986 to 1989 and from 1991 to 1992. In 2009, Braga left Flamengo's presidency due to medical issues and after being suspended by the Court of Sporting Justice (TJD), he was replaced by Delair Dumbrosck.

Henrique Mecking
Henrique Costa Mecking, also known as Mequinho, is a Brazilian chess grandmaster who reached his zenith in the 1970s and is still one of the strongest players in Brazil. He was a chess prodigy, drawing comparisons to Bobby Fischer, although he did not achieve the International Grandmaster title until 1972. He won the Interzonals of Petropolis 1973 and Manila 1976. His highest FIDE rating is 2635, achieved in 1977, when he was ranked number four in the world. He is the first Brazilian to become a grandmaster. Despite winning his first national championship at the age of 13, he played in very few tournaments. He won at Vršac in 1971 and finished third with Robert Byrne at Hastings in 1971–72. In 1975, he twice shared second place behind Ljubomir Ljubojević, firstly at Las Palmas with Ulf Andersson and Mikhail Tal and then at Manila with Lev Polugaevsky, Bent Larsen and Helmut Pfleger.
Rafael Silva
Rafael Carlos da Silva is a Brazilian heavyweight judoka. He became Brazil's first Olympic medalist in the judo heavyweight division (>100 kg), winning a bronze medal in 2012. Silva won the Pan American Judo Championships in 2012–2014 and 2016, and qualified for the 2016 Olympics.

Antônio Carlos Peixoto de Magalhães Neto, commonly known as ACM Neto, is a Brazilian lawyer and politician, as well as the current mayor of Salvador. He is the grandson of deceased Senator Antônio Carlos Magalhães (ACM), nephew of Luís Eduardo Magalhães and son of Antônio Carlos Magalhães Júnior, and political inheritor of one of the most traditional political families of the country. He was elected mayor of Salvador in 2012 and reelected in 2016.
