Ivo Nesrovnal, LL.M. is a Slovak lawyer, politician. He served as the Mayor of Bratislava from 2014 to 2018.

Rudolf von Laban, also known as Rudolf Laban, was an Austro-Hungarian dance artist and theorist. He is considered as one of the pioneers of modern dance in Europe as the "Founding Father of the Expressionist Dance" in Germany. His work laid the foundations for Laban Movement Analysis, Labanotation, other more specific developments in dance notation and the evolution of many varieties of Laban movement analysis. He is considered to be one of the most important figures in the history of dance, though his legacy remains tainted by his role in the Nazi movement of the 1930s in Europe.

Iveta Radičová served as the first woman Prime Minister of Slovakia from 2010 to 2012. She led a coalition government, in which she also briefly held the post of Minister of Defence in the last five months of the coalition. Previously she had served as Minister of Labour from 2005 to 2006 in the second Dzurinda government.

Through her marriage to Prince Gottfried Maximilian of Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst, Maria Henrietta became a member of the house of Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst.
