Ludwig "Bubi" Bründl is a retired German football player. He played eight seasons in the Bundesliga between 1965 and 1975. TSV 1860 München won their first and only Bundesliga title in 1966 during Bründl's first season with the senior team, although he made no appearance on the field. Bründl enjoyed the most successful spell of his career with Eintracht Braunschweig, where he scored a total of 67 goals in 148 games in all official competitions between 1971 and 1975. This includes ten goals in six games in the 1971–72 UEFA Cup, which made Bründl the tournament's first top scorer.

Marcus Elieser Bloch (1723–1799) was a German-Jewish medical doctor and naturalist. Although he had limited education, he became a teacher in Hamburg, learned German and Latin and studied anatomy. He later settled in Berlin where he became a physician. Always interested in natural history, he amassed a private collection of natural objects. He is generally considered one of the most important ichthyologists of the 18th century, and wrote many papers on natural history, comparative anatomy, and physiology.

Conrad II was the Duke of Merania from 1159 until his death. He became Count of Dachau in 1172.

Johann Bauschinger was a mathematician, builder, and professor of Engineering Mechanics at Munich Polytechnic from 1868 until his death. The Bauschinger effect in materials science is named after him. He was also the father of astronomer Julius Bauschinger (1860–1934).
