Albert, 12th Prince of Thurn and Taxis, is a German aristocrat, businessman, and race car driver. He has been listed as the world's youngest billionaire many times since his father's death in 1990, first appearing on the list when he was age eight.

Edwin Jackson Jr. is a German-born American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Tampa Bay Devil Rays / Rays, Detroit Tigers, Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, Washington Nationals, Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves, Miami Marlins, San Diego Padres, Baltimore Orioles, Oakland Athletics, and Toronto Blue Jays. Jackson was an All-Star in 2009, threw a no-hitter on June 25, 2010, and was a member of the 2011 World Series champion Cardinals.

Cordelia Maria Edvardson was a German-born Swedish journalist, author and Holocaust survivor. She was the Jerusalem correspondent for Svenska Dagbladet, a Swedish daily newspaper, from 1977 to 2006. Edvardson reported extensively on the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, remaining a columnist for Svenska Dagbladet after leaving her post in 2006.

Maximilian Henry of Bavaria was the third son and fourth child of Albert VI, landgrave of Leuchtenberg and his wife, Mechthilde von Leuchtenberg. In 1650, he was named Archbishop-Elector of Cologne, Bishop of Hildesheim and Bishop of Liège succeeding his uncle, Ferdinand of Bavaria. He worked throughout his career with the French to limit the authority of the Holy Roman Emperor, and participated in the Franco-Dutch War on the opposite side from the Empire.

Peter von Mendelssohn (1908–1982) was a German writer and historian. Of Jewish heritage he was forced to leave Germany following the Nazi Party's rise to power in 1933. He become a prominent member of the exile community, along with figures such as Thomas Mann. In 1936 settled in Britain where he became a naturalised subject. His 1932 novel Schmerzliches Arkadien was adapted into a 1955 film Marianne of My Youth.
