He was selected by the Houston Rockets in the second round of the 2018 NBA draft with the 46th pick, but was traded to Phoenix before his rookie season began. He played college basketball for the USC Trojans of the Pac-12 Conference, but did not play in the 2017–18 season due to the events relating to the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball corruption scandal.

Jeon So-yeon, better known mononymously as Soyeon, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter and record producer signed to Cube Entertainment. She gained attention for competing in the television shows Produce 101 and Unpretty Rapstar before her solo debut on November 5, 2017 and later becoming the leader and main rapper of the girl group (G)I-dle, in which she participates in writing and producing the majority of their songs, in May 2018. Brandon Alexander McNulty is an American cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam UAE Team Emirates. In the 2016 UCI Junior World Time Trial Championships McNulty became the fourth American to ever become a junior world champion after Taylor Phinney, Jeff Evanshine, and Greg LeMond, winning the time trial by 35 seconds.

He later tried to play for the South Carolina Gamecocks, but due to an NCAA ruling, he removed himself from college and the 2018 NBA Draft altogether. Nicknamed "Tugs", he was named a McDonald's All-American as a senior in high school in 2017.
