Raquel Jaramillo, better known by her pen name R.J. Palacio, is an American author and graphic designer.

Noxolo Kiviet is a South African politician, and the Premier of the Eastern Cape from 2009 to 2014. She is the former speaker of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature. She is also a member of the African National Congress. In June 2012 Kiviet was rated as the worst performing provincial premier by the South African Public Service Commission.

Sabine Derflinger is an Austrian film director, screenwriter, producer and dramaturgical consultant. She lives and works in Vienna and Berlin. Many of her films have won several awards, notably Geraubte Kindheit, Vollgas, Kleine Schwester, 42plus and Tag und Nacht. She is also well known for directing a number of films in the cult series Tatort.

Britt Lundberg is a politician in the Åland Islands, an autonomous and unilingually Swedish territory of Finland. She served as President of the Nordic Council during the 2017 session. She was formerly Speaker of the Parliament of Åland 2011–2015, Deputy Premier and Minister of Culture and Education 2007–2011, Minister of administration, equality and EU affairs 2005–2007 and a Member of the lagting 1999–2004.

Jan Jelte Ykema is a former ice speed skater from the Netherlands, who represented his native country at two consecutive Winter Olympics, starting in 1984 in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia. In 1988 (Calgary) he won the silver medal in the men's 500 metres. The same year he won all of his three World Cup races. A year later Ykema retired from international competition to work in real estate business. During his career he won three national sprint titles and three distance titles.

Cal MacAninch is a Scottish actor, who is known for portraying the character of DI John Keenan in police drama HolbyBlue on BBC1. Other notable appearances were his roles as Mr Thackeray in the ITV period drama, Mr Selfridge, and Henry Lang in Downton Abbey, but he has played many leading roles in British television and film over the last 30 years.
