Randy Douglas Edsall is an American football coach who is currently in his second stint as the head football coach at the University of Connecticut. He was director of football research-special projects for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL) previously in 2016. He was the head coach at the University of Maryland from 2011 to 2015. Edsall was previously the head coach at Uconn from 1999 until the 2011 Fiesta Bowl, and oversaw the program's promotion from the NCAA Division I-AA level to Division I-A. He is UConn's all-time leader in wins and games coached.

Stephan Weil is a German politician and the leader of the Social Democratic Party in Lower Saxony. On 20 January 2013, the SPD and the Green party won the 2013 Lower Saxony state election by one seat. On 19 February 2013, he was elected Minister President of Lower Saxony with the votes of SPD and Alliance '90/The Greens. From 1 November 2013 until 31 October 2014 he was President of the Bundesrat and ex officio deputy to the President of Germany. In November 2017, he was again elected Minister President with the votes of SPD and CDU.

Sunand Tryambak Joshi is an American writer, musician, critic and award-winning scholar whose work has largely focused on weird and fantastic fiction, especially the life and work of H. P. Lovecraft and associated writers. Joshi is a lifelong scholar and editor of H. P. Lovecraft and restored Lovecraft's texts for Arkham House. He has published a lengthy biography of H. P. Lovecraft, I Am Providence: The Life and Times of H. P. Lovecraft. Additionally, Joshi has been a prolific editor of works of weird fiction by various authors and a historian of the field across a number of volumes. He has also written extensively on atheism and rationalism, as well as forms of prejudice including sexism and racism. Joshi lives with his wife, Mary Krawczak Wilson, in Seattle, Washington. Joshi's autobiography What Is Anything?: A Life in Lovecraft was published in 2019.
