On 17 March 2016, she declared her candidacy for the party's leadership election, which took place at an extraordinary party conference on 3–4 June, and she was elected party chairman.

Richard Barbieri is an English musician and songwriter. Originally a member of new wave band Japan, more recently he is known as the keyboard player in the progressive rock band Porcupine Tree, which he joined in 1993.

Michael Edward Fossum is a former American astronaut, engineer, and the Chief Operating Officer of Texas A&M University at Galveston.
