Benjamin William Mkapa was a Tanzanian politician who served as the third President of Tanzania. He was in office for one decade from 1995 to 2005. He was Chairman of the Revolutionary State Political Party.

George Roden was an American leader of the Branch Davidian sect, a Seventh-day Adventist splinter group. In 1987, he was evicted from the Mount Carmel Center near Waco, Texas, by his rival David Koresh. He was later confined in a Texas mental hospital for a 1989 murder, until his own death.

Eric George Harrison was an English professional football player and coach. He played in midfield for several teams, including notable spells at Halifax Town and Barrow. Harrison became a football coach and worked at Everton before he was brought to Manchester United by Ron Atkinson in 1981 to manage the youth team.
