Kristin Linklater was a Scottish vocal coach, acting teacher, actor, theatre director, and author. She retired from the Theatre Arts Division of Columbia University where she was professor emerita. She taught residential courses in Orkney. Kristin Linklater died on 5 June 2020, aged 84, at her home, Housegarth, Quoyloo, Orkney.

Savva Yakovlevich Kulish was a Soviet film director and screenwriter. He directed eight films between 1966 and 1994. His 1979 film Takeoff won the Silver Prize at the 11th Moscow International Film Festival. He was awarded with the People's Artist of Russia in 1995.

Haydn Morgan was a Welsh international flanker who played club rugby for Abertillery and Bicester Rugby Union Football Club. He was awarded twenty-seven caps for Wales and toured with Ronnie Dawson's 1959 and Arthur Smith's 1962 British Lions squads. Although a reliable and dynamic player with a heavy, but clean tackle, Morgan suffered at the hands of the selectors often dropped for players who never showed any international longevity.
