Tamio "Tommy" Kono was an American weightlifter in the 1950s and 1960s. Kono set world records in four different weight classes: lightweight, middleweight, light-heavyweight, and middle-heavyweight.

Buck Henry was an American actor, screenwriter, and director. Henry's contributions to film included, his work as a co-director on Heaven Can Wait (1978) alongside Warren Beatty, and his work as a co-writer for Mike Nichols's The Graduate (1967) and Peter Bogdanovich's What's Up, Doc? (1972). His long career began on television with work on shows with Steve Allen in The New Steve Allen Show (1961). He co-created Get Smart (1965–1970) with Mel Brooks, and hosted Saturday Night Live 10 times from 1976 to 1980. He later guest starred in such popular shows as Murphy Brown, Hot in Cleveland, Will & Grace, and 30 Rock.

Richard Donner is an American director and producer of film and television and occasional comic-book writer. After directing the horror film The Omen (1976), Donner became famous for directing the first modern superhero film, Superman (1978), starring Christopher Reeve.

Theodore Edgar McCarrick is an American former cardinal and bishop of the Catholic Church. Ordained in 1958, he became an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of New York in 1977, then became bishop of the Diocese of Metuchen, New Jersey, in 1981. From 1986 to 2000, he was the Archbishop of Newark. He was created a cardinal in February 2001 and served as Archbishop of Washington from 2001 to 2006. Following credible allegations of repeated sexual misconduct towards children and seminarians, he was removed from public ministry in June 2018, became the first cardinal to resign from the College of Cardinals because of claims of sexual abuse in July 2018, and was laicized in February 2019. Several honors he had been awarded, such as honorary degrees, were rescinded.

Andreas Siegfried Sachs, known professionally as Andrew Sachs, was a German-born British actor and writer. He made his name on British television and found his greatest fame in 1975 for his portrayal of the comical Spanish waiter Manuel in Fawlty Towers.

Georgiy Nikolayevich Daneliya Georgian: გიორგი ნიკოლოზის ძე დანელია, also known as Giya Daneliya, was a Soviet and Georgian film director and screenwriter. He was named a People's Artist of the USSR in 1989.
