Hermann Zapf was a German type designer and calligrapher who lived in Darmstadt, Germany. He was married to the calligrapher and typeface designer Gudrun Zapf-von Hesse. Typefaces he designed include Palatino, Optima, and Zapfino.

Ági Mészáros was a Hungarian film actress. She appeared in 27 films between 1940 and 1977. Her daughter Ági Voith is also an actress.

Denis Anthony Brian Butler, 9th Earl of Lanesborough, was an Anglo-Irish aristocrat. Lord Lanesborough also held the titles 10th Viscount Lanesborough and 12th Baron Newtown-Butler.

Gisèle Préville (1918–2006) was a French film actress and beauty contestant. She entered the film industry after being crowned Miss Paris in 1934 and Miss France in 1935. While she mainly featured in French films, she also starred in the British films Against the Wind (1948) and The Dancing Years (1950).
