González has appeared at every position except for pitcher and catcher for the Astros. He won the 2017 World Series with the team.

He played in Major League Baseball for the Florida Marlins, Detroit Tigers, Arizona Diamondbacks and Cincinnati Reds. Willis was notable for his success during his first few years in the major leagues and for his unconventional pitching style, which included a high leg kick and exaggerated twisting away from the batter. He was named the 2003 National League Rookie of the Year.

Dennis Ray "Oil Can" Boyd is a former starting pitcher in Major League Baseball. Boyd played for the Boston Red Sox (1982–89), Montreal Expos (1990–91), and Texas Rangers (1991). In a 10-season career, Boyd collected a 78–77 record with 799 strikeouts and a 4.04 ERA in 1389.2 innings.

Blake M. Treinen is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball for the Baker Wildcats and the South Dakota State Jackrabbits baseball team. The Oakland Athletics selected Treinen in the seventh round of the 2011 MLB draft, and he made his MLB debut in 2014. He has also played in MLB for the Athletics and Washington Nationals. Treinen was an All-Star in 2018 and won the 2020 World Series with the Dodgers over the Tampa Bay Rays.
