André Boisclair is a politician in Quebec, Canada. He was the leader of the Parti Québécois, a social democratic and sovereigntist party in Quebec.

Peter John Law was a Welsh politician. Formerly a member of the Labour Party, he stood as an independent candidate in the 2005 general election, defeating the Labour candidate by over 9,000 votes. Matías Sebastián Kulfas is an Argentine economist and professor, currently serving as the country's Minister of Productive Development since 10 December 2019, in the cabinet of President Alberto Fernández. He previously served as Undersecretary of Small and Medium-sized Businesses from 2006 to 2008, as well as a member of the board of directors of the National Bank of Argentina (2008–2012) and as General Manager of the Argentine Central Bank (2012–2013).

Mōri Motonari was a prominent daimyō in the western Chūgoku region of Japan during the Sengoku period of the 16th century. The Mōri clan claimed descent from Ōe no Hiromoto (大江広元), an adviser to Minamoto no Yoritomo. Motonari is known as a great strategist who began as a small local warlord (jizamurai) of Aki Province who extended his clan's power to nearly all of the Chūgoku region through war, marriage, adoption and assassination.

Alejandra Orozco Loza is a Mexican diver. In 2012, she participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics in the synchronized 10 metre platform event alongside world champion Paola Espinosa, winning a silver medal. At the age of 15, she became the youngest athlete to represent Mexico at the 2012 Olympic games.
