Anastasija Sevastova is a professional tennis player from Latvia. She reached her career-high singles ranking of world No. 11 in October 2018, after reaching her first Premier Mandatory final at the China Open. She has won four singles titles on the WTA Tour, as well as 13 singles and four doubles titles on the ITF Circuit.

Damon Herriman is an Australian actor known for his film and television work in Australia and the United States. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Dewey Crowe in Justified. Emilio Aragón Álvarez, is a Spanish director, musician, actor, presenter and producer. He was the original presenter of the Spanish game show VIP Noche, which was a popular 1990s game show on the Spanish Telecinco network. He later hosted and directed the first season of El gran juego de la oca on Antena 3, also in Spain. Since 2006 he has been the president of the television network La Sexta.

Bishop Chrysostomos of Zakynthos (1890–1958) was the Metropolitan Bishop of Zakynthos during the Second World War, and a key figure in saving the entire, 275-person Jewish population of the island. During the Nazi occupation of Greece, Mayor Loukas Karrer and Bishop Chrysostomos refused Nazi orders to turn in a list of the members of the town's Jewish community for deportation to the death camps. Instead they secretly hid the town's 275 Jews in various rural villages and turned in a list that included only their own two names. The entire Jewish population survived the war.

Vashishtha Narayan Singh was an Indian academic. A child prodigy, he completed his PhD in 1969. He taught mathematics at various institutes in the 1960s and 1970s. Singh was diagnosed with schizophrenia in the early 1970s and was admitted to a psychiatric hospital. He went missing during a train journey and was found years later. He was again admitted to the hospital and later returned to academia in 2014. He was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award of India, posthumously in 2020.

Ryōsuke Hirata is a Japanese professional baseball outfielder for the Chunichi Dragons in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball. He has played for the Dragons since 2006.
