Stephen B. Grimes was an English production designer and art director. He won an Oscar and was nominated for two more in the category Best Art Direction.

Jorge Inostrosa Cuevas was a Chilean novelist, biographer, journalist, and screenwriter for radio, theater, and television. By his own account, "he lived to write and for what he gained from writing." Upon his death, he had more than 30 titles under his belt, as well as lyrics, poems, and a significant number of scripts for film, radio, and television.

M. Susan Montgomery is a distinguished American mathematician whose current research interests concern noncommutative algebras: in particular, Hopf algebras, their structure and representations, and their actions on other algebras. Her early research was on group actions on rings.

Ronald Gordon King-Smith OBE, Hon.MEd, was a prolific English writer of children's books, primarily using the pen name Dick King-Smith. He is best known for The Sheep-Pig. It was adapted as the movie Babe (1995) and translations have been published in fifteen languages. He was awarded an Honorary Master of Education degree by the University of the West of England in 1999 and appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2010 New Year Honours. Dick and Myrle had three children – two daughters and one son (Giles). Dick King-Smith's first book, The Foxbusters, was published in 1978.

Audrey Mittelheisser is a French badminton player. She started playing badminton at age 9, and in 2010 she joined the France national badminton team. In 2012, she won the French National Badminton Championships in the mixed doubles event with her partner Baptiste Carême. In 2013, she won a silver medal at the Mediterranean Games in the women's doubles event. In 2015, she won a silver medal at the European Games in the mixed doubles event with Gaëtan Mittelheisser.

Manuel Demetrio Pizarro, also known as "the youngest of the plinio", according to Domingo Sarmiento was a lawyer, writer, journalist, teacher and Argentine politician, and member of the National Autonomist Party. He served as minister of Servando Bayo in Santa Fe, was provincial deputy, and professor of Civil Law in the Faculty of Jurisprudence, National Senator, Minister of the Nation during the period of Roca and, later, governor of Cordoba Province. It is attributed to the famous phrase pronounced as a result of the consequences that caused the Revolution of the Park in Argentina: "The revolution is defeated, but the government is dead."

Yusuf Kironde Lule was a Ugandan professor who served as the President of Uganda between 13 April and 20 June 1979.
