Count Lajos Batthyány de Németújvár was the first Prime Minister of Hungary. He was born in Pozsony on 10 February 1807, and was executed by firing squad in Pest on 6 October 1849, the same day as the 13 Martyrs of Arad.

Kwun-Lai Ng (1934-2018) is a former Chinese actress and Cantonese opera singer from Hong Kong. Ng is credited with over 150 films.

Alberto Viller Bica Alonso was a Uruguayan footballer who played as a right winger. He played in nine matches for the Uruguay national team from 1979 to 1981. He was also part of Uruguay's squad for the 1979 Copa América tournament.

Ryoji Katsuki is a Japanese former professional baseball pitcher in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball. He played with the Chiba Lotte Marines in 2010 and from 2012 to 2016.

Jean Barthélémy Richard was a French historian, who specialized in medieval history. He was an authority on the Crusades, and his work on the Latin missions in Asia has been qualified as "unsurpassed". Richard was a member of the Institut de France. He was President of the prestigious Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres in 2002. He was born in Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, France in February 1921. Richard died in January 2021, two weeks shy of his 100th birthday.
