Since March 2012 she has been Praeses of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia and since November 2015 she has also been Vice-President of the Council of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD). In 2021 she became President of the Council of the EKD.

In 2015, she hosted her own television talk show If Katie Hopkins Ruled the World, and appeared on the fifteenth series of Celebrity Big Brother, finishing as the runner-up. The following year, Hopkins became a presenter for the talk radio station LBC and underwent major brain surgery to relieve the severity of her epilepsy. In 2021, she joined the UK Independence Party (UKIP).

Domingo Faustino Sarmiento was an Argentine activist, intellectual, writer, statesman and the seventh President of Argentina. His writing spanned a wide range of genres and topics, from journalism to autobiography, to political philosophy and history. He was a member of a group of intellectuals, known as the Generation of 1837, who had a great influence on 19th-century Argentina. He was particularly concerned with educational issues and was also an important influence on the region's literature.
