José Gonçalves
José Isidro Gonçalves Maciel is a Portuguese cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Delko. He rode in the 2015 Vuelta a España. His biggest win to date was the overall at the 2016 Tour of Turkey. He was named in the start list for the 2017 Giro d'Italia. In July 2019, he was named in the startlist for the 2019 Tour de France.

G. Evelyn Hutchinson
George Evelyn Hutchinson, was a British ecologist sometimes described as the "father of modern ecology." He contributed for more than sixty years to the fields of limnology, systems ecology, radiation ecology, entomology, genetics, biogeochemistry, a mathematical theory of population growth, art history, philosophy, religion, and anthropology. He worked on the passage of phosphorus through lakes, the chemistry and biology of lakes, the theory of interspecific competition, and on insect taxonomy and genetics, zoo-geography and African water bugs. He is known as one of the first to combine ecology with mathematics. He became an international expert on lakes and wrote the four-volume Treatise on Limnology in 1957.

Lyle Talbot was an American actor on stage and screen, known for his career in film from 1931 to 1960 and for his appearances on television in the 1950s and 1960s. He played Ozzie Nelson's friend and neighbor, Joe Randolph, for ten years in the ABC sitcom The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet.

Thomas John Mitchell Ashley is a sailor from New Zealand, who won the gold medal in the men's sailboard event at the 2008 Summer Olympics. He also won the 2008 RS:X World Championships. He is the Olympic champion and the 2008 World champion. Ashley attended Westlake Boys High School in Auckland, which had earlier fostered the development of other notable sailors, including Chris Dickson and Dean Barker.
