Trev Alberts
Trev Kendall Alberts is an American sports administrator and the director of athletics at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Alberts is a former American college and professional football player. He played college football for the University of Nebraska, and earned All-American honors at linebacker. He played professionally for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL) for three seasons, after having been fifth overall pick in the 1994 NFL Draft. Later, he became a television and print college football commentator, most notably working alongside Mark May on ESPN's College GameDay Scoreboard show. In January 2015, Alberts was among 15 players and two coaches selected to the College Football Hall of Fame. On July 14, 2021, it was announced that Alberts had been selected to return to Nebraska, his alma mater, to become the athletic director.

John Franklin III is an American football wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Florida State, Auburn and Florida Atlantic. He also played junior college football for East Mississippi, where he was featured prominently in the first season of Last Chance U. He was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2018.

B. J. Daniels
Bruce Edward Daniels Jr. is a former professional American football quarterback. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft after playing college football at South Florida. He played quarterback for South Florida and the Seattle Seahawks, before moving to wide receiver in 2015. He won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks over the Denver Broncos. He is now the head coach at Lincoln High School.
Chris Polk
Chris Polk is an American football running back who is currently a free agent. He played college football for the Washington Huskies. Despite being considered a top running back prospect for the 2012 NFL Draft, he went undrafted due to concerns over a potentially degenerative shoulder condition. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2012.
R. Jay Soward
Rodney Jay Soward is a former gridiron football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft, but only played one season after multiple suspensions derailed his career. He was indefinitely suspended by the NFL in 2002.
