He won the WBC bantamweight title in 1979 after defeating Carlos Zárate Serna, and made eight defenses. In 1985, Pintor defeated Juan Meza to win the WBC super bantamweight title, but lost to Samart Payakaroon in his first defense the following year.

Safet "Pape" Sušić is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player who most recently managed Turkish club Akhisarspor. Sušić played for Yugoslavia in two FIFA World Cups, 1982 and 1990, and at UEFA Euro 1984. As a manager, he qualified the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team to the 2014 FIFA World Cup. In 1987, she released her masterpiece "Feng Jing"(风景), and won the 1987-1988 national outstanding medium-length novel award. Her other work, including Qin Duan Kou (琴断口), and Xing Yun Liu Shui (行云流水), "Jiang Na Yi An" (江那一岸), "Yi Chang San Tan" (一唱三叹), have been well received as well. Since she cares much about the poor, many of her works reflect their genuine lives.
