Sebastian Maniscalco is an American stand-up comedian and actor. Born in the Chicagoland area in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Maniscalco began his career in 1998 performing at open mics. He has since released five comedy specials. Maniscalco has also had supporting acting roles in the films Green Book (2018) and The Irishman (2019), playing mobster Joe Gallo in the latter.

Anand Kumar is an Indian Mathematics educator best known for his Super 30 programme, which he started in Patna, Bihar in 2002, and which coaches underprivileged students for IIT-JEE, the entrance examination for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). By 2018, 422 out of 481 students had made it to the IITs and Discovery Channel showcased his work in a documentary. Kumar has spoken at MIT and Harvard about his programs for students from the underprivileged sections of Indian society. Kumar and his school have been the subject of several smear campaigns, some of which have been carried in Indian media sources. His life and work are portrayed in the 2019 film, Super 30, where Kumar is played by Hrithik Roshan.

Oscar De La Hoya, is an American former professional boxer who, in 2002, also became a boxing promoter and, in 2018, a mixed martial arts (MMA) promoter. As a boxer, he competed from 1992 to 2008, winning 11 world titles in six weight classes, including the lineal championship in three weight classes. He is ranked as the 16th best boxer of all time, pound for pound, by BoxRec. Nine of his victorious fights received a 5-Star rating from BoxRec. De La Hoya was nicknamed "The Golden Boy of boxing" by the media when he represented the United States at the 1992 Summer Olympics where, shortly after having graduated from James A. Garfield High School, he won a gold medal in the lightweight division, and reportedly "set a sport back on its feet."
