Sekarmadji Maridjan Kartosuwirjo
Soekarmadji Maridjan Kartosuwiryo was an Indonesian Islamic mystic who led the Darul Islam rebellion against the Indonesian government from 1949 to 1962, with the objective of overthrowing the secular Pancasila ideology and establishing Negara Islam Indonesia based on sharia law.
