Nick Brown
Nicholas Hugh Brown is a senior British Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Newcastle upon Tyne East since 1983. He currently serves as the Opposition Chief Whip in the House of Commons, having done so intermittently under five different Leaders of the Labour Party. Additionally, he held several positions in the governments of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown between 1997 and 2010.
