Lindsay Tanner
Lindsay James Tanner is an Australian former Labor Party politician who was the Member of Parliament for Melbourne from 1993 to 2010 and Minister for Finance from 2007 to 2010, during which time he played a role in Australia's response to the Global Financial Crisis of 2008 and 2009. In 2010, he retired from politics, and has since written several books and been a political commentator.
