José Manuel Pirela is a Venezuelan professional baseball second baseman and outfielder for the Samsung Lions of the KBO League. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees, San Diego Padres and Philadelphia Phillies, and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. He made his major league debut in 2014.
