Jaime Harrison
Jaime R. Harrison is an American politician, who is the current chairman of the Democratic National Committee, after previously serving as the chair of the South Carolina Democratic Party from 2013 to 2017. Harrison ran against incumbent senator Lindsey Graham for the South Carolina U.S. Senate seat in the 2020 election. Graham defeated Harrison by ten percentage points, 54% to 44% during the November 3, 2020, general election. Harrison broke U.S. Senate campaign fundraising records by raising $109 million.
