Ivan Alexandrovich Wyschnegradsky, also transliterated as Vïshnegradsky, Wyshnegradsky, Wischnegradsky, Vishnegradsky, or Wishnegradsky was a Russian composer primarily known for his microtonal compositions, including the quarter tone scale. He also used scales of up to 72 divisions.
