Chey Tae-won

Chey Tae-won is a South Korea billionaire businessman. He is the chairman of SK Group, Korea's third largest chaebol (conglomerate), that mainly engages in the provision of semiconductors, oil, telecommunication services, chemical, etc. He is well known for the group's Hynix merger deal, which eventually becomes the world's third largest chip maker followed by Samsung Electronics and Intel. SK Group recorded revenue and profit of $213.6 and $23.8 billion respectively. As of 2019, he is the 8th richest man in South Korea with net worth of $3.2 billion. Most of his fortune is came from SK Holdings, the holding company of SK Group.
