Wang Junxia
Wang Junxia is a Chinese former long-distance runner who is the current world record holder at 3,000 Meters. She also held the world record for the 10,000 Meters for 23 years, between 1993 and 2016. Her best years lay between 1991 and 1996. Wang was coached by Ma Junren until 1995 and by Mao Dezhen from 1995 to her retirement after the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Wang Feng
Wang Feng is a Chinese rock musician and composer. He was the founder and lead vocals of the rock band No. 43 Baojia Street. He also composed the music for Wang Xiaoshuai's 2001 film Beijing Bicycle.

Wang Quanzhang
Wang Quanzhang is a Chinese human rights lawyer from Wulian County, Shandong. He was arrested in August 2015 as part of the "709 crackdown" on human rights lawyers instigated by General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Xi Jinping, and after being held incommunicado for three years, he was put on trial for subversion of state power in December 2018.

Wang Yue
Wang Yue, also known as "Little Yue Yue", was a two-year-old Chinese girl who was run over by two vehicles on the afternoon of 13 October 2011 in a narrow road in Foshan, Guangdong. As she lay bleeding on the road for more than seven minutes, at least 18 passers-by skirted around her body, ignoring her. She was eventually helped by a female rubbish scavenger and sent to a hospital for treatment, but succumbed to her injuries and died eight days later. The closed-circuit television recording of the incident was uploaded onto the Internet, and quickly stirred widespread reaction in China and overseas.

He served as commander of the People's Armed Police and deputy chief of General Staff of the People's Liberation Army. He was dismissed in 2016 and placed under investigation for corruption. He was a member of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Between 2016 and 2019 he was the Communist Party Secretary of Changchun. Prior to his position in Changchun he served in a variety of posts, as vice-governor of Hubei, the Party Secretary of Xiangyang, and the mayor and party chief of Lijiang.
