Rosalind Elsie Franklin was an English chemist and X-ray crystallographer whose work was central to the understanding of the molecular structures of DNA, RNA, viruses, coal, and graphite. Although her works on coal and viruses were appreciated in her lifetime, her contributions to the discovery of the structure of DNA were largely recognised posthumously.

Rosalind Russell
Catherine Rosalind Russell was an American actress, known for her role as fast-talking newspaper reporter Hildy Johnson in the Howard Hawks screwball comedy His Girl Friday (1940), as well as for her portrayals of Mame Dennis in Auntie Mame (1958) and Rose in Gypsy (1962). A noted comedian, she won all five Golden Globes for which she was nominated. Russell won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 1953 for her portrayal of Ruth in the Broadway show Wonderful Town. She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress four times throughout her career.

She is currently the COO of Starbucks and the former President and CEO of Sam's Club, a division of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. USA Today referred to her as "one of corporate America's most prominent women and black female executives." She became the first woman and the first African-American to fill the role of CEO at one of Wal-Mart Stores' divisions. In 2018 she was listed as the 34th in Forbes' ranking of the most powerful women.
