Roman Alekseyevich Eremenko is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder, most recently for FC Rostov in the Russian Premier League. Eremenko is best known for his time in FC Dynamo Kyiv, winning the Ukrainian Premier League title in 2009, and playing in the Champions and Europa Leagues. He served a two-year ban for cocaine use from October 2016 to October 2018. Prior to his ban, he also played regularly for the Finland national team. Eremenko made his international debut for Finland in June 2007, at the age of 20.
