Pan Mei (潘美) was a military general and statesman in the early years of imperial China's Song Dynasty. In the 970s, he was the main commander in Song's conquest of Southern Han and also played pivotal roles in the conquest of Southern Tang and Northern Han. Afterwards he fought the Khitan-ruled Liao Dynasty on Song's northern border.

Pan Junshun, was the first Chinese national to be awarded the title Righteous Among the Nations for hiding and sheltering a Ukrainian Jewish girl during the occupation of part of the Soviet Union during World War II.

Pan Zhengmin is a Chinese entrepreneur, the co-founder of Shenzhen AAC Technologies, an electronic components company.

Pan Yue is executive vice president of the Central Academy of Socialism in Beijing. An environmental journalist-turned-activist, Pan has spent much of his public career agitating for environmental causes, for which he has gained international recognition. He was the recipient of the 2010 Ramon Magsaysay Award. He served as Vice Minister of Environmental Protection between 2008 and 2015. He is the current director of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office.

Pan Yiyang is a former Chinese politician who served in regional posts in Jiangxi province and Inner Mongolia. Pan served as the Communist Party Secretary of Ganzhou between 2003 and 2010, and subsequently Executive Vice Chairman of Inner Mongolia. During his tenure in the autonomous region he also sat on the Party Standing Committee of Inner Mongolia. He was placed under investigation for corruption in September 2014 and expelled from the Communist Party. Upon being convicted on charges of bribery, Pan was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
