Julien Coupat is a French political activist. As one of the Tarnac Nine, he was arrested on November 11, 2008 and accused of terrorism in connection with a plot to sabotage French train lines. Coupat spent over six months in jail before being released on bail; he was held for a significantly longer period than other members of the Tarnac Nine because French police believed him to be the leader of the group, which they described as an Anarchist cell.

Julien Henry Guy Benneteau-Desgrois is a French retired professional tennis player. His career-high singles ranking is ATP world no. 25, which he reached in November 2014. He formerly resided in Boulogne-Billancourt and now lives in Geneva. Benneteau did not win a singles title, although he finished as runner-up in ten ATP tournaments. He reached the quarterfinals of the 2006 French Open and the semifinals of the 2014 Cincinnati Masters and 2017 Paris Masters.

Julien Stéphan is a French professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Since July 2021 he has been the manager of Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, having previously had the same role at Rennes between December 2018 and March 2021, this tenure including victory in the 2018–19 Coupe de France.
