Rear Admiral Alan John Ogilvie Martin, is a retired officer of the Royal New Zealand Navy, who served as Chief of the Navy from 30 November 2015 to 29 November 2018.

John II, called the Accursed (Maledictus), son of Lampert of Spoleto, was the count of the palace of Salerno in 980 and acting regent for Prince Pandulf II. He was pushed out with the prince by Manso, Duke of Amalfi, in 981. The rule of the Amalfitan and his son John was oppressive and the local populace rose in revolt and elected the Spoletan John prince in 983, expelling Manso.

John Norbury of Hoddesdon and Little Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire, was an English courtier, ambassador and Member of Parliament who served as Lord High Treasurer of England.
