Johan Capiot is a former professional road racing cyclist. He was a professional rider from 1986 to 2000.

Johan Henri Gustaaf Cohen, known as Johan Cohen Gosschalk was a Dutch jurist, graphic artist and painter of Jewish ancestry. His sister, Meta Cohen Gosschalk, also became a well known painter.

Johan Henrik Deuntzer was a Danish professor and politician who served as a member of the Liberal Venstre party until 1905 where he joined the Danish Social Liberal Party. He was Council President and Foreign Minister of Denmark from 1901 to 1905 as the leader of the Cabinet of Deuntzer.

Johannes Wijnandus "Johan" Remkes is a Dutch politician and nonprofit director who served as Deputy Prime Minister of the Netherlands from 2002 to 2003 under Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende. He is a member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD).

Johan De Muynck is a Belgian former professional road racing cyclist who raced from 1971 to 1983. The highlight of his career was his overall win in the 1978 Giro d'Italia. He was an outstanding climber. Other Grand Tour highlights include a very strong performance in the closely contested 1976 Giro d'Italia where he held the Maglia Rosa until the final time trial finishing on the podium in 2nd less than a minute behind the winner. He also rode well in the 1980 and 1981 editions of the Tour de France where he finished 4th and 7th respectively. Going into the 2020 cycling season De Muynck is the last Belgian rider to win a Grand Tour.
