Admiral Sir Henry William Bruce was a Royal Navy officer who went on to be Commander-in-Chief, Portsmouth.

Henry Holland, 3rd Duke of Exeter was a Lancastrian leader during the English Wars of the Roses. He was the only son of John Holland, 2nd Duke of Exeter, and his first wife, Anne Stafford. His maternal grandparents were Edmund Stafford, 5th Earl of Stafford, and Anne of Gloucester.

Henry Parker, 11th Baron Morley was an English peer, Lord of Morley, Hingham, Hockering, &c., in Norfolk, the son of Sir Henry Parker and Grace Newport. His father was the son of Henry Parker, 10th Baron Morley and Alice St. John. His father was knighted at the coronation of Anne Boleyn and died within his father's lifetime, therefore the title passed directly to him upon the death of his grandfather in 1556.

General Henry Sinclair Horne, 1st Baron Horne, was a military officer in the British Army, most notable for his generalship during the First World War. He was the only British artillery officer to command an army in the war.

Sir Henry Vane was an English politician, statesman, and colonial governor. He was briefly present in North America, serving one term as the governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, and supported the creation of Roger Williams' Rhode Island Colony and Harvard College. A proponent of religious tolerance, as governor, he defended Anne Hutchinson and her right to teach religious topics in her home which put him in direct conflict with the Puritan leaders in the Massachusetts Colony. He returned to England after losing re-election and eventually, Mrs. Hutchinson was banned from the colony.
