Fujiwara no Koshi was an Empress consort of Japan. She was the consort of Emperor En'yū of Japan.

Fujiwara no Morozane was a regent of Japan and a chief of the Fujiwara clan during the late Heian period. He was known as Kyōgoku dono or Go-Uji dono. He held the positions of sessho or kanpaku for a twenty-year period, sessho from 1075 to 1086 during the reign of Emperor Shirakawa and from 1094 to 1099 during the reign of Emperor Horikawa, and kampaku from 1086 to 1094 during the reign of Emperor Horikawa.

Fujiwara no Umakai was a Japanese statesman, courtier, general and politician during the Nara period. The third son of Fujiwara no Fuhito, he founded the Shikike ("Ceremonials") branch of the Fujiwara clan.

Fujiwara no Michinori , also known as Shinzei (信西), was an aristocratic Confucian scholar and Buddhist monk in late Heian period Japan. He was one of the chief advisors to Emperor Nijō, and one of the chief allies of Taira no Kiyomori, particularly during the Heiji Rebellion of 1159.

Fujiwara no Takaie , was a Kugyō of the late Heian period. He was the Regional Governor of Dazaifu and is famous for repelling the Jurchen pirates during the Toi invasion in 1019. He reached the court position of Chūnagon.

Fujiwara no Nobunaga, third son of Norimichi, was a kugyo of the Heian period. His mother was a daughter of Fujiwara no Kintō. Although his father Norimichi was regent of Emperor Go-Sanjo and Emperor Shirakawa, Nobunaga could not become regent. After Norimichi's death, the position of regent was passed down the line of Yorimichi, the first son of Fujiwara no Michinaga. He became Daijō Daijin in 1080, but his order of precedence was next to Nobunaga's cousin regent Fujiwara no Morozane.

Fujiwara no Yoshitaka was a Japanese waka poet of the mid-Heian period. One of his poems was included in the Ogura Hyakunin Isshu. He produced a private waka collection, the Yoshitaka-shū.

Fujiwara no Korechika , the second son of Michitaka, was a kugyo of the Heian period. His mother was Takashina no Takako, also known as Kō-no-Naishi (高内侍). His sister Teishi (Sadako) was married to Emperor Ichijō, and Korechika aspired to become the regent (Sessho) for his young brother-in-law after his father's death. Korechika's ambitions pitted him against his powerful uncle, Fujiwara no Michinaga, and the resulting power struggle continued until Empress Teishi's unexpected death. This left Michinaga's daughter, Shoshi, as Ichijō's sole empress, solidifying Michinaga's power at court.
