Fathi Ali Abdul Salam Bashagha, known simply as "Fathi Bashagha", or "Fathi Ali Pasha" on his website, was born on 20 August 1962 in Misrata and is the current Minister of Interior of the Government of National Accord (GNA) appointed by Fayez al-Sarraj on 7 October 2018.

Fathi Al-Jabal is a Tunisian football manager who is the current manager of CS Sfaxien. He was the manager of Al-Fateh in the Saudi Professional League from 2008 to 2014, leading the Al-Ahsa club to its first promotion to the Saudi Professional League in 2009. He subsequently clinching the title in 2013, along with the first ever Saudi Super Cup.

Fathi Kameel Matar Marzouq was a Kuwaiti football player in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He helped Kuwait qualify to the World Cup in 1982 by scoring a goal against New Zealand. Fathi also helped Kuwait win the Asian Cup in 1980. He was joint top-scorer at the 1976 AFC Asian Cup with three goals. He also played for Kuwait at the 1980 Summer Olympics. It is said that Fathi would usually be on the bench and that whenever he warms up to play, the crowd cheers him loudly.
