Elena Mikhailovna "Zamo" Zamolodchikova is a Russian former artistic gymnast, and four-time Olympic medallist. She was known for her risky double-twisting double-backflip on floor and was one of only a handful of women to have successfully completed one. In 2015, she was inducted in the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame.

Elena Anatolyevna Lashmanova is a Russian race walker. She was the 2012 Olympic Champion in the 20 km walk. She received a two-year ban for a doping violation along with a similar penalty for the majority of her training partners shortly thereafter. Her Olympic gold was not affected, though. It is claimed by Russian whistleblower Rodchenkov that her positive sample was in fact one from her 2012 olympics mistakenly substituted for a further positive test result by the state run doping programme. He claims that she had at least 2 positive findings that went unreported and that this one was reported only because it was witnessed by non Russian experts.

Elena Kazantseva is a Belarusian poet and singer-songwriter who writes in the Russian language. She recorded five music albums with songs on her own poetry and published two books of her poems, "Night City" (1992) and "Concerto " (2002). She sings and plays the guitar and the piano. In 1988, she won Second All-Union festival of song in Tallinn.

Elena Aleksandrovna Valova is a Russian former pair skater who competed internationally for the Soviet Union. With her then-husband Oleg Vasiliev, she is the 1984 Olympic champion, 1988 Olympic silver medalist, and three-time World Champion. Their coach throughout their career was Tamara Moskvina.
