Daniela L. Rus is a Romanian-American roboticist, the Director of the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), and Andrew and Erna Viterbi Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Daniela Hunger is a former medley and freestyle swimmer from East Germany, who won two golden medals at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea: in the women's 200 m individual medley, and as a member of the women's 4×100 m freestyle team. Hunger also competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, where she captured three medals. She competed for the SC Dynamo Berlin/ Sportvereinigung (SV) Dynamo.

Daniela Anschütz-Thoms is a German former speed skater. At the 2006 Winter Olympics, she won a gold medal in the women's team pursuit with the German team, and four years later she defended the title in Vancouver. She is married to former speed skater Marian Thoms since December 2005.
