Candace Parker
Candace Nicole Parker is an American professional basketball player for the Chicago Sky of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She was the first overall pick in the 2008 WNBA Draft. In 2016, along with other stars such as Alana Beard and Nneka Ogwumike, Parker helped the Sparks to win their first WNBA Finals title since 2002. In high school, Parker won the 2003 and 2004 Gatorade National Girls Basketball Player of the Year awards, becoming just the second junior and the only woman to receive the award twice.
Candace Owens
Candace Amber Owens Farmer is an American conservative author, political commentator, and activist. Initially critical of President Donald Trump and the Republican Party, Owens eventually became known for her pro-Trump activism as a black woman, in addition to her criticism of Black Lives Matter and the Democratic Party. She worked for the conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA between 2017 and 2019 as its communications director. She is scheduled to have her own podcast with The Daily Wire starting in 2021.
