Alexandrine "Alexine" Pieternella Françoise Tinne was a Dutch explorer in Africa who was the first European woman to attempt to cross the Sahara. She was an early photographer.

Alexandrine-Jeanne Le Normant d'Étiolles was the only daughter of Madame de Pompadour, Louis XV's celebrated maîtresse-en-titre. She was born during the "Scenes of Metz", in which the public was scandalised to learn of the adultery of her stepfather-to-be, Louis XV of France.

Alexandrine von Taxis, was a German businesswoman. She served as Imperial General Post Master of the Kaiserliche Reichspost, the General Post Office of the Holy Roman Empire, as well as the Post Master of the Spanish Netherlands, from 1628 until 1646. She was married to Leonhard II von Taxis. When he died, she took over his office until her son Lamoral II Claudius Franz, Count of Thurn and Taxis was old enough and educated enough to take office.

Alexandrine Bonaparte, Princess of Canino and Musignano was a French aristocrat. She was already the widow of the banker Hippolyte Jouberthon, and thus known as "Madame Jouberthon", when she became the second wife of Prince Lucien Bonaparte, a younger brother of Napoleon I of France. She and her second husband had nine children, including:

• Prince Charles Lucien Bonaparte (1803–1857)
• Prince Paul Marie Bonaparte (1809–1827)
• Prince Louis Lucien Bonaparte (1813–1891).
• Prince Pierre Napoleon Bonaparte (1815–1881).

Alexandrine of Mecklenburg-Schwerin was Queen of Denmark as the spouse of King Christian X. She was also Queen of Iceland from 1 December 1918 to 17 June 1944.

Alexandrine von Schönerer née Lucia was an Austrian theater owner, managing director and actress.
