Alex Papps is an Australian actor, television host, writer and singer. After appearing in serial Neighbours as Greg Davis, he became better known for his role as original foster child Frank Morgan on rival soap opera Home and Away. Previously he played Vince Cerontonio in The Henderson Kids. He was also a host of music program The Factory. Since 2005 he has been a presenter on the ABC's children's show Play School, alongside his former Home and Away co-star Justine Clarke who played his girlfriend Roo Stewart, with whom he also appears in the ABC drama The Time of our Lives. He has released an album of children's songs.

Alex Rackley was a member of the New York chapter of the Black Panther Party in the late 1960s. In May 1969, because of a targeted smear campaign orchestrated by the FBI; which framed members of the BPP as being "undercover cops" to harm their image and cause infighting between members of the Black Panthers. Because of this, Rackley was suspected by other Panthers of being a police informant. He was brought to Panther headquarters in New Haven, Connecticut, held captive and tortured there for several days, condemned to death, taken to the wetlands of Middlefield, Connecticut, and murdered there.
