Burhan Qurbani is a German film director, writer and actor of Afghan origin. His directing, writing, and acting works include Shahada (2010), 20xBrandenburg, and Illusion. His modern day adaption of Alfred Döblin's modern classic novel Berlin Alexanderplatz was selected for the main competition of the 2020 Berlin International Filmfestival.

Pankaj Kapur is an Indian theatre, television and film actor. He is the father of actor Shahid Kapoor with his first wife, Neelima Azeem. He has appeared in several television serials and films. His most acclaimed film roles to date have been that of Inspector P.K. in Raakh (1989), Dr. Dipankar Roy in Ek Doctor Ki Maut (1991) and Abba ji, in Vishal Bhardwaj's adaptation of Macbeth; Maqbool (2004), all three roles which got him National Film Awards.

Jean Paul Lal, better known by his stage name Lal Jr., is an Indian film director who mainly works in the Malayalam film industry. He is the son of actor-director Lal. His debut movie was Honey Bee starring Asif Ali which was a blockbuster.

Alan Kazbekovich Badoev is a Ukrainian movie director, music video director, screenwriter, TV producer, TV presenter and music producer of Ossetian origin. He first gained international recognition in 2006 with his awarded full-length movie debut "OrAngeLove" (Russian: Оранжевая любовь). Today Badoev is most notable for his prize-winning work as music video director. He has directed more than 500 music videos.

Hrafn Gunnlaugsson is an Icelandic film director. He is the brother of mathematician Þorvaldur Gunnlaugsson and the lawyer Snædís Gunnlaugsdóttir and the actress Tinna Gunnlaugsdóttir. He is mostly known for his series of Viking films, sometimes called "Cod Westerns". He was married to Edda Kristjánsdóttir and they have four children: Kristján born 1968 who is a poet and playwright, Tinna who is an actress, Sól who is an art designer and Örk who is an artist and was born in 1993. He won the award for Best Director at the 20th Guldbagge Awards for When the Raven Flies.
