Sayyid Bashir Hussain Zaidi, CIE, MP was a member of the first Lok Sabha and the Vice-Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University from 1956 to 1962. He also served as a member of the Constituent Assembly of India from United Provinces. He was awarded Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian honour, by Government of India in 1976.

Jean Louis Debilly, General of Brigade in the Grande Armée, was born 30 July 1763 in Dreux, Eure-et-Loir, France, and died 14 October 1806, in the French victory over the Kingdom of Prussia at the Battle of Jena–Auerstedt. On 14 June 1804, he was awarded the Commanders Cross of the Legion of Honor.

Jan Heemskerk Abrahamszoon was a Dutch politician who served as Chairman of the Council of Ministers from 1874 to 1877, and again from 1883 to 1888. His son, Theo Heemskerk also served as Chairman of the Council of Ministers.
