His contributions led to the establishment of the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University in 2009 and he created the Wyss Foundation, which aims to conserve natural environments, including public lands in the Western United States, Africa, South America, and South Australia. She began her career in the early 1980s and first gained notice for her role as Lisa in the comedy film Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). Danilo Wyss is a Swiss road racing cyclist, who most recently rode for UCI WorldTeam NTT Pro Cycling. He is no relation to fellow Swiss cyclist Daniel Wyss who won the Race Across America in 2006 and 2009.
