Born in San Bernardino and brought up in Simi Valley, California, Woodley began modeling at the age of four and began acting professionally in minor television roles. She first gained prominence for her starring role as Amy Juergens in the ABC Family drama series The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008–2013).

Tyron Lakent Woodley is an American professional mixed martial artist and broadcast analyst. He is currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is a former UFC Welterweight Champion. A professional since 2009, he has also fought in Strikeforce. As of January 25, 2021, he is #7 in the UFC welterweight rankings.

LaMarr Dudley Woodley is a former American football outside linebacker. He played college football at Michigan, where he was recognized as a unanimous All-American, and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft. In his second season, he won Super Bowl XLIII as a member of the Steelers. Woodley also played for the Oakland Raiders and Arizona Cardinals.
