Tarasova has been coach to more world and Olympic champions than any other coach in skating history. Her students have won a total of eight Olympic gold medals in three of the four Olympic figure skating disciplines, in addition to 41 gold medals at the European and World championships.

Evgenia Maksimovna Tarasova is a Russian pair skater. With partner Vladimir Morozov, she is a three-time World medalist, a two-time European champion, the 2016–17 Grand Prix Final champion, and a three-time Russian national champion. Earlier in their career, they became the 2014 World Junior silver medalists and the 2014 Russian junior national champions.

Sofia Tarasova is a Ukrainian singer and actress. Tarasova represented Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with her song "We Are One". She placed 2nd with 121 points.
