David Robert Starkey is an English historian and a radio and television presenter. The only child of Quaker parents, he attended Kendal Grammar School before studying at Cambridge through a scholarship. There he specialised in Tudor history, writing a thesis on King Henry VIII's household. From Cambridge, he moved to the London School of Economics, where he was a lecturer in history until 1998. He has written several books on the Tudors.

Zak Richard Starkey is an English rock drummer. He is the son of The Beatles drummer Ringo Starr, and has performed and recorded with English rock band The Who since 1996. He is also the third drummer to have appeared with English rock band Oasis. In 2020, he became the drummer for Casbah Club after the band reunited after a twelve-year hiatus.

Steve Starkey is an American film producer and second unit director who is widely associated with Robert Zemeckis. He served as an assistant film editor for both The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983).
